Marrickville Tempe Community of Schools (MTCOS)

The Marrickville Tempe Community of Schools is a public education
community network.
MTCOS is a learning community of local public schools. Our schools are a
collection of 2 High Schools and 7 Primary Schools of approximately 2600
students, 9 Principals and around 282 Teachers and DET personnel. Our schools
have been educating the children from the local areas of Enmore, Camdenville,
Erskineville, Alexandria, St Peters, Sydenham, Tempe, Marrickville South, The
Warren, Marrickville, Petersham and Stanmore for well over a century. By
combining, we can collectively share our great pool of knowledge and talent for
the advantage of our community. As a network we are able to increase our
capacity for excellence and innovation and we can broaden our curricula.
The expertise and talents of the nine local public schools within the Marrickville
Tempe local area are committed to enhancing and showcasing our students,
schools and local community. Our schools provide the community with quality in
the provision of education and a caring learning environment for children and
young adults. All of our schools are focused on providing the best education and
encouragement for each student to attain his or her personal best.
We are committed to the sharing of ideas, support and resources for the benefit
of all our students. Our local schools are in touch with our community. We share
community aspirations and as public schools we work with our communities to
achieve success for students and families within our local area.
The Marrickville Tempe Community of Schools is a platform for increased
participation, opportunity and for highlighting the excellence of our local
communities. Together we are Camdenville Public, Ferncourt Public, Marrickville
High, Marrickville Public, Marrickville West Public, St Peters Public, Tempe High,
Tempe Public and Wilkins Public Schools.
